Description

Dextrose Anhydrous is a colorless, sweet white powder with lower sweetness than sucrose; soluble in water and partially soluble in alcohol. For a long time, this natural sugar in its crystalline form has been used as a sweetener. It is a simple carbohydrate that is directly absorbed into the blood.

Applications:

1) Dextrose Anhydrous, used as sweetener in baked goods, candies, gums, dairy products like some ice-creams and frozen yogurts, canned foods, cured meats etc.


2) Dextrose Anhydrous can be used in beverage such as in energy drinks, low calorie beer products as the fermentable carbohydrate source to reduce calories.


3) Dextrose Anhydrous for oral ingestion may be used in treatment of various diseases and nutrient enhancers. It used as Fillers, Diluents & Binders for tablets, capsules and sachets. As Parenteral Aids / Vaccine Adjuvants it is Suitable for use in cell culture applications. In veterinary industry, glucose may be directly used as drinking agent or applied in various animal drugs as a carrier. As it is Pyrogens free, it is widely used in human and animal’s infusion and injection.

Labeling:

Each packing unit must carry a label indicating the name of the product, the net weight, the name of the manufacture, the date of production, the batch code, expiry date or shelf life and storage condition.

Storage Conditions:

Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place, stored away from extreme heat and away from strong oxidizing agents.
